Last night, students from the Texas Culinary Academy painted models in chocolate for the spring fashion show event at The Domain here in Austin. These girls had so much fun! My friend Melissa Adams at Viva Chocolato organized this part of the event called Cocoa Couture for the Cure benefitting the local Susan G. Komen.
Local chocolate artists created and donated items for the benefit -- quite a crowd gathered to see the lacy, flowery undergarment cake at Betsey Johnson...ooohlala! My favorite auction item was the couture handbag cake by Irene Selby and her team at Cakes, Chocolates, and More. Amazing work by all!!
